This week it’s all about @Shelbyox. In real-life she goes by Shelby (or “Shelbs” to friends) and she hails from Ontario, Canada.

Her set designs are always simple yet striking, and her use of color coordination makes for a beautiful feed. The color coordination is no accident either, as you'll read in her full Q&A. Check out our favorite picks from her feed and the full Q&A below.

What is the first thing on your canvas when you create an outfit?

The first thing I look for when I start a set is a good outfit. Typically I would start with the shirt or the bottoms and go from there.

Three words to describe your style:

casual/ minimalist/ soft

Style icons:

Selena Gomez - pulls off everything she wears no matter how casual or glam; Vanessa Hudgens - boho style and romantic vibes every time; Hailey Bieber - always looks chic and put together effortlessly

Something you’d wear every day:

A hoodie because no matter what I'll stay comfy and warm

What do your favorite outfit creations have in common?

Colour balance

Advice for others looking to improve their creative process?

Just continue to make sets. Eventually you'll pick up your own style and it will be easy. I have a few sets I'm displeased with but keep for motivation.

Current phone background/wallpaper?

It's a beach and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but there right now

An album you would listen to on repeat for a week:

Rare by Selena Gomez

Recent purchase that you love:

I purchased some Skims loungewear recently and I honestly love how soft and durable they are.

Styles you once tried but now make you cringe?

Coloured skinny jeans/ fringe shirts

What is your real-life job?

Studied recreation therapy and currently working at a coffee shop as well.

How long have you been creating outfits?

I have been making sets on ShopLook for over 3 years now (2018-present). I was previously using polyvore as well.

What do all great sets have in common?

A great set is established when you can't take your eyes away from it. When it draws you in and leaves you inspired to create.
